BDAFA update: News 29 March 2022

Start of soccer season delayed

The Bankstown Association have reviewed the condition of the fields in the district and the impending weather and have decided to delay the start of the 2022 Winter Soccer Season for all Competitions excluding Men’s Premier League.

Due to this delay, the season has been extended and Grand Finals for competitive teams will now be held on the 17th & 18th September 2022.

Small sided football (U/6 to U/11) will also continue for a couple of extra weeks, and finish end of August.

The first games scheduled for 2 and 9 April have been cancelled.
All competitions will now commence on the 23rd and 24th April 2022 (weekend after Easter) and finish on the 17th & 18th September 2022.

This will enable clubs to hopefully meet and greet new players, get some training in and fill out any last spots remaining in teams.
